Hi all
Another quick question, I have been WW kayaking and canoeing for many years but I am new to the sea.
I have 2 boats arriving in a week what is everyone's proffered way of transporting on the roof of a car and what attachments do people prefer?
What do we all carry in our bouncy aids/boat and what do people prefer to have on the deck or in a deck bag?
As always I thank you all for advice and help, you have been great in the past.

Re: Sea kayak transport
There are numerous threads on safely transporting sea boats - a search will find them, as will a peek at the Almanac / Equipment / "Transporting sea kayaks" link - - - follow my sig link if you haven't already found the Almanac.
The contents of my ba are laid bare here - hope this may be of some help. Flares, pumps, spare paddles, chocolate and camera are all the sort of things handy to have readily accessible - sometimes on deck, sometimes in a deck bag and with the advent of the small fore-deck hatches, sometimes in there.
Enjoy your transition to salt water! Mike.
