No prizes for guessing where I went over Easter.

It's really very good of the distilleries to have their name painted in 20' high letters so the tired sea kayaker can make out where she is in rubbish visibility.

Not this time. Started from Port Askaig and paddled to Proaig bothy, then to Port Ellen, then round the Oa, then paddled a few short trips out with local paddlers, then home again. Need to go back and finish the job off.

The first three shots look a little out-of-focus....did you stop off at those distilleries?

I think the photo quality is more a reflection of the weather than my sobriety. This was Good Friday, and it rained virtually all day, not heavy but constant drizzle being blown under the hood of my cag.

We arrived in Arisaig on Easter Sunday evening and lay in the tent as the wind rattled and rain drummed on the flysheet - it didn't look good. Surprisingly the next five days turned out rather nice, if cold and breezy.
