Hi Dave (spawneydave??)
Well done on your travels. Patagonia is an awesome place to paddle. In 2010 I did a self supported trip between Aysen and Laguna San Rafael, a must see destination with or without kayak, and will be happy to share with you my experience with your own self organised trip if that is what you are looking for.
Alternatively I have an ongoing professional relationship in Chile with an outfit called Pueblito Expediciones ( http://www.pueblitoexpediciones.cl ). Contact Jorge Muller. They run trips in the whole of Patagonia and get to some pretty remote locations. Jorge is very friendly, professional, and offers great experience. Regardless of where you end up paddling, it will be worth your effort to contact him.
Alternatively my company is offering the Laguna San Rafael trip later this year. Details here: Laguna San Rafael Kayak Expedition.
Enjoy your time mate, you will have a blast.

Thanks for that guys, certainly got some study to do there, it all looks amazing. of course I supose most folk plan stuff like this a year in advance & I am trying to get something together in 2 weeks whilst doing a job of work as well. so my head is spinning. my missus is back in england packing & the other option I found needed us to take our own camping & paddling gear which was a bit of a problem

Hi Dave,
May be able to help with contacts if you can tell me where you are going? I have a contact with gear in region 11 North of San Rafael Galacier and may be able to put you in touch with someone for Terra Del Fuego. They are a very long way apart though which I am sure you know.
pm me if you want a contact,
Thanks,
Ollie
