Does anyone know of any Moderate Water Surf Assessments taking place anywhere in the country?
I did my Mod Surf training down in Bude last year but Simon hasn't got any assessments running at the moment and wondered if anything else might be happening around the UK in the next 12 months.
Thanks for your help,
Cheers, dave

Re: Moderate Water Surf Assessments???
Glenmore is doing a Surf Moderate Water Coach Training/ Assessment on November 1/2 according to the SCA surf calendar.
Check with http://www.glenmorelodge.org.uk/ as some of these courses dont run due to lack of numbers.

Yeah, I was booked onto their assessment last year and I was the only one, guess the scheme is still very young... Just noticed that they have a date next June now but again we'll see if it attracts the numbers.
If anyone else out there is in the same situation, then let me know as if we are three people, I'm sure we could organise one to fit

Just spoken to the Lodge and they do have training and assessments coming up in June - however no one has booked on as yet. I am wanting to go - anyone else?

I had intended on doing the Sea Assessment in May but am at present the only one enrolled. As far as I am aware there are only two dates for this course in 2012, in Scotland!. It is slightly concerning that there is not a bigger uptake on these courses and is maybe indicative of how the UKCC framework is perceived at present.

I'm still keen, been waiting for almost two years for an assessment now... Those dates in June maybe a little tricky but will see if I can make it happen. In that case it's possible we could be three... surely they'd run it for us then,
Thanks for getting back to us,
cheers,
dave

Re: Moderate Water Surf Assessments???
Thanks for that... Still looking for a mod water surf assessment... Ideally looking at some point in the autumn now
And hints would be great... I'm sure there must be a few more people in the same position by now,
Cheers,
Dave
