Armchair paddlers - share yours

Postby Mark R » Wed Aug 08, 2012 11:13 am

We all know that no one here really paddles, we just sit around instead. Any more examples?

Original lighthouse on Lundy that was too high to see in fog, I think.
Been there 4 times now. Scotty, did you and Andy ever get out to the Scillies?

Shame on me for having all these posts from various armchairs!

Very much what I had in mind. Not sure about your chosen attire for socialising, though.

Sometimes to ensure that you have an arm chair while you paddle, you have to take it with you.

Other people are more flexible and just improvise:

Let's not forget the temptation to just lie in the hammock all day:

Or to just sit & enjoy the sunshine

Jeff says that "the Explorer is like a comfortable old armchair to me". He is not kidding.

I believe the technical term for Bob is a K9yaker.
