Just one snag though, no anchor!
Not to worry I thought, there's plenty of buoys to run a line off down there.
This was only going to be a short session (had to back before 1100)
Got to a buoy, and after a little bit of faffing about I was connected to it.
After about 40 minutes and a few taps, finally got something....
Didnt get anymore bites for the next half an hour so decided on a move, big mistake!
Got my mooring line stuck on the bottom of the buoy and after about 30 minutes of buggering about I decided to abort and head back in.
Nice to get out, shame about the early finish, but I guess that's just the way it goes some days.
Just about to head out and use up the bait down the harbour with my daughter, so might hopefully have more luck down there?
