Dear all,
The Tyne Rivers Trust is running a major project to develop a catchment plan for improving the River Tyne and the rivers that flow into it. The plan is government-funded and recognised, and will become a key part of wider plans and policies to improve rivers throughout England.
A key part of the project is tapping in to local knowledge about the rivers in the Tyne system. We want to hear about the issues local people know are affecting their local rivers, with specific information about where these problems are. To gather this information we are conducting a very short survey which should only take a few minutes to complete, depending on how much detail you choose to provide. Please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3P6G7WD to complete the survey. It is open until 18 June 2012.
I’d be very grateful if you would also forward this email to others who you think would be interested in sharing their Tyne knowledge with us. Although we cannot promise to resolve every problem raised, the more responses we get the more likely it is that local issues will be targeted for action.
If you would like to follow our progress as we develop our Tyne Catchment Plan, please visit the project website http://www.tynecatchment.org.
If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thank you.
