Not so boring how long to kayak 36km of the Midlands WW?

OK I might die of boredom but, stay with me! I was going to drive round to see what all the local play spots were doing with this little bit of water were enjoying, but a quick google check and I can do all (bar 2) by boating 36km! Definitely not doing it in a play boat so how long in my creeker?

Start @ Milford finish @ Trent Lock. Any one done it?

Upstream or downstream?
How fast is the river flowing.

It's a typical day's paddle in the Grand Canyon but the river is doing 3mph already
It's a 6 hour day in a sea kayak assuming tidal flow and excluding time for breaks.

I can manage 6 mph in a K1, 4.5mph in my old slalom boat, only 4 mph in an Ottawa canoe, all on still water. Never tried racing a creeker but I would have thought around 3 mph at race pace.
