Driving to the Alps
Hi thinking of going out to paddle in the french Alps end of May and wondering if anyone has any ideas of the cheapest way down and any toll roads it's possible to avoid to cut down costs.

Hi.
Although the toll roads are all avoidable any savings will be taken up on extra fuel and time driving on minor roads.
If you want to avoid toll roads then search for a route on The Michelin route finder and use their route options.
Similarly if you're using sat nav use the avoidance's option.
Seriously though you'll halve the journey time and spend a similar amount of cash by using motorways.
