Sweet rambler/wanderer

Postby nutterboy » Fri Apr 20, 2012 6:55 pm

Hi

As some of the more observent of you may notice, I am looking for a new helmet and I have now decided to go for a sweet rambler (just a wanderer with a goggle strap)

Unfortunatley, I don't live anywhere near a shop which stocks either so cant try it on

So is it pretty adjustable to different head shapes provided I get the correct size as I will have to buy online?

Thanks very much

David

A friend had the same idea, the helmet lasted the season as the 2 helmets have different linings. The ski lining isnt designed to get wet (or at least they didnt use to be). Sticking it in water will deteriorate it, will be abit more difficult to dry out and eventually just give up on you. Not sure if anyone else has had any other experiences, this was with last years model !

By far this is the best fitting helmet I have owned (wanderer) it very customisable and super comfy!! Should be fine as long as you measure your head size correctly!

Why not go to your LKS and try one on. I'm sure Sterling Canoes will have them, or will have when the new stock arrives.
