Kayaking is not a Crime - T shirts, Hoodies, Stickers!

Postby Tom_Laws » Wed Feb 01, 2012 10:54 am

After the popularity of the last merchandise run - now nearly 5 years ago - we're proud to bring back an extended range of Kayaking Is Not A Crime (KINAC) products, including t-shirts, hoodies, and stickers.

We're operating it in a slightly different way though - orders will be taken until 28th February 2012. At this point, we will then have all the ordered products made up, and shipped out.

If you pay for direct shipping (£5) you should get delivery about 14th-15th March. Alternatively, for 50p you can have delivery to the Dee River Festival which is being held in Llangollen on 24th-25th March (the 50p will cover the cost of sending all of the ordered merchandise from the printers to Llangollen).

Ashley Charwood of Canoe Wales, who was the initial driving force behind the campaign, commented:

"Canoe Wales is really pleased to see KINAC merchandise continuing and would like to thank the volunteers who continue to make this a success. Originally it was raise much needed funds to help lobby the Welsh Government. Now any proceeds will be used to create meaningful facilities, on the ground, for canoeists. Follow @canoewales on Twitter for news of what and where."

We will keep you updated on here as well with info of how any funds raised are being used, and organisations we are giving ALL of the profits to!

If there is sufficient demand, we will do several runs per year - but due to this being reliant on volunteers we can't have an ongoing webshop - at the moment.

Thanks for your support!

Happy Paddling.

Good effort - Is it too later to ask if us one bladed chaps could order "Canoeing is not a Crime" merchandise instead? You've then got an additional audience of 10K members over on SOTP.

Sounds great but I just have a quick question, if you just fancied for example one of the large stickers that would cost £1.75 it is still £5 postage or is that just for the t-shirts/hoodies.

Cheers Dan

Dan you don't have to worry about that, your club bulk order should share the postage costs quite nicely! :-)

The first time around, there were "Canoeing is not a crime" tee shirts and stickers as well. They didn't really sell that well. Maybe canoeists have a more refined fashion sense or just a very different take on sartorial elegance.

What's the sizing for the Men's T-shirts (i.e. chest size for L and XL)?

The clothing seems quite cheap. Is this a fundraising effort or to raise awareness (or perhaps a bit of both)?

Edit: I'll learn to read

I sent an email quite a while ago, querying the dimensions of the various sticker sizes, and whether it would be possible to get CINAC stickers for an order of about 25, but have had no reply.
