How to upload pictures?

Sorry to be a bore, I've checked the Forum but can't work out how to upload pictures to insert into a post, can anybody explain how its done?

I use imageshack to upload most of my photos- they sometimes get deleted after a few years though, here's how:

go to http://www.imageshack.us

to upload a single photo click browse, then select the location of the image on your computer then click 'host it'



when this window appears scroll down to the last link, this uploads a big image and so is not recommended by imageshack for forum use, but in kayaking we often show off big pictures.



Click Img at the top of the page:



Surround the link to your pictures with the

Code: Select all

[img]INSERT IMAGE LINK HERE[/img]

In this example the code will look like this:

the image will then appear in the post like in this guide, however may sometimes be too big to post on a forum, if this is the case the easiest thing to do is tick the resize image box on the imageshack homepage.
