Dave's dad (our) Bert passed away peaceful in his sleep last night.

Bert was an emblematic figure during our mis-spent youth and was always there, either on the bank or back home, to pick up the pieces. A great bowls and dominos player in his own right, but most of all a cracking funny guy.

Rest in peace Bert and thanks for everything. Condolences to all the family.

Miss the man and more so now that Ian has also eddied out. Annual reunion of mates this weekend Llangollen.
