Bit of market research to see if you have had the same thing happen.
You know the gold buckle on the backrest strap on your connect 30 outfiitted Pyranha?
Has the smaller part of the buckle ever popped through the bigger part, thus casuing the back rest to go all slack?
This has happened to me twice now. Once rescuing a swimmer on the bottom part of Slenningford and then last week again on the final drop of the middle Etive. I have solved it by setting the strap to the right length and tying it off, but just wanted to find out if I am the only one before I ask Pyranha directly about it.

Am I right in thinking that there is no difference in the design of this backrest strap and buckle acrioss the connect30 outfitted boats?

The buckle on the back of the backrest is the same throughout the entire range of Connect 30 outfitted boats.
