I can't hang my buoyo up to dry upside down, odd I know, it has to dry upright, like it makes a difference!

Will allways repaqck my throw line after someone else has kindly done it for me, ( but thats a saftey thing so I know its good to go)

I have to put a half hitch in my boat straps agaist the ratchet, when I got them tight, if someone else does it and doesnt half hitch then I redo

Cant pay for access it just doesnt sit right with me, makes my OCD gene go all funny so I find it easyer not to ,

Checking my deck is on multiple times in the eddy above chunky rapids...
...and if it's really chunky, once more on the lead-in.

Serious paranoia about how boats are tied on to the roof of the van. Then I have to stop to check after 1st half mile :-/ HAVE TO! NEED TO! Cos clearly they will all fly off the roof and cause carnage if I don't check them.

can't do dry cags on the sea, always switch to an old school cag - my brain says latex+ salt = rash but don't find any issues diving...

Everyone does it, but splash face with water at the start of the river and before any chunky bits.

I can honestly say that I've never had the urge to do that.

It's taken me years, but I think I have finally conquered my weird and ludicrous compulsion to punch invisible flying monsters at the bottom of rapids. People thought I had a tic or something.

Face splashing and lucky paddling pants.

The face splashing helps with the initial shock come the first wave on a cold day, but habit has formed so its every time nowadays.
The skiddies? well there's a story and a horrific photo for another time.

Face splash for the same reason.
As soon as I'm on I wash my hands and paddle to remove any sandy bits, have to do it or I can't focus. That's probably actual OCD creeping in.

Always, always wash my hand in the water and wipe it on my deck after touching my face - even the tiniest bit. If I don't...who knows what will happen...

One we all do I bet. I picture myself in all my layers of kit as a way of working out if I've packed everything. Not really an OCD but I'm not weird like you lot. :)

The obliquatory head, shoulders knees and toes (or helmet, BA, deck and boots) before leaving the house, sitting in the car enroute, exiting car at destination, prior to commiting to a shuttle of any sort, and when gears all packed away. Very strange I know. But it just HAS to be done.

I had to align all the cross heads on all the screws on my boat so they all point in the correct direction!

I Always pull the knee strap on my deck , never the grab loop. The right clip of my BA gets done up first, but tightened last.

And its all about the Dual ratchet action, I feel 'twisted' otherwise

Some times to line myself up but the majority of the time I dont know why asi double ratchet soim normaly straight.

Capsize it just doesnt feel right if I dont honest, the shockon my face isjust acting and going with it its all planned subconciously.

Before any paddle strokes are taken I have to clean any sand etc of hands and paddle shaft. I used to have to have a nose clip on before any big rapids otherwise I felt really weird and had no confidence this has now thankfully changed.

When tying on boats I have to have the bigger boat on the bottom, just looks so weird otherwise.

As soon as I get on the water I have to dip both hands in for a couple of seconds. Also have to check kit about 4 times before it is put in the car.
