Minnoch SEPA Gauge
I think its burst (or is in need of a baseline reset). I went the other day and it said very high online. It was very low. Has anyone else experienced an inconsistency with this gauge?

I do not think that is has been calibrated properly. I think that it is only worth heading down that way when there has been heavy rain there the previous night, and into the morning.

Re: Minnoch SEPA Gauge
As far as I know the guage has never been accurate, also it is pretty far downstream of the three sections and is, I think, after the confluence with the Cree.
Given the distance and quick run off on both rivers it's possible that the whitewater sections empty out and fill the meandering slow flowing section where the guage is.

Hey Bruce,
We took a jaunt down there a month ago as it had been high but was just into medium. We got there it was really low.
Normally everything still goes when the gauges say low albeit with some scraping but go all the same. A wasted journey and fuel :(

Whats the worst that can happen?
