TREE ON RIVER ALLAN

There is a large tree in the middle of the river at the lead in to the rapid above the big broken weir, just above Bridge of Allan. (The one just before the first houses).
It will be possible to pass either side if it stays where it is, but it could be a bigger problem if it moves down into the weir channel. If it is not there as you approach the weir it would be best to get out and inspect until it is confirmed that it has gone.
