Was climbing in the Blackwater Gorge near Blairgowrie 6/6/11 and there is a tree which could be dangerous at low/medium levels. It is on the small drop just after the first and hardest rapid in the Gorge. The drop has three three chutes in low water and the tree is blocking the left and centre (main line) chutes.
It comes up fast round a corner and there is little eddy space above it, be careful. At high flows it will probably be submerged and unnoticable or will get cleared out, it doesnt look too permanent.
