RIVER ALLAN
There is a very big beech tree fallen and blocking the entire river immediately below wall of death. There is enough time to take an eddy river left before the tree but a swim would be incredibly unpleasant. A route has been cleared to allow portaging river left but a chain saw or really big floods will be required for the tree to move from its current position.

Another Big Tree River Allan
...there was enough space on the left to run this at last night's levels. However the tree does still block 2/3 of the river and to swim here would be bad.
There's also another river wide tree down in the slack-ish water above the weir in Ashfield.

Re: Big Tree River Allan
the weir tree is in small bits (no problem) and the wall of death one is gone
there are various others but no probs for a competent group at today's 1.4ish (WTW)
