Scouted this on the 20th of Feb.
There were two trees in potentially dangerous positions - The first being lodged at the bottom of the slot, second being between the slot and the last drop.
Looks like the second can be cleared easily, but the one in the slot looks well stuck.

We paddled this late feb 2011 (after you saw it Gregseh) and the first tree mentioned is gone. The second tree mentioned in the last drop is still there and will be for a while but is the least of your worries if you have a peek around the corner at the cave/undercut which most of the the river shortly flows into... Be careful of this rapid! Make sure you scout it from the river right bank, we narrowly avoided a bad mistake on this drop, we had looked at it from the river left bank on our way up and deemed the drop easily runnable, it was only when I by chance decided to jump out and take a photo of my friend when I spotted the massive undercut!
