Tawe Hazard

A recent landslide affecting the main road near the Ancient Briton pub is being repaired.
It looks as if some debris, especially trees may affect the river. A rather large machine is cutting a path through the wood to get at the fall.
The section affected is the big pool at the bottom of the rapid after the waterfall. Usually a big whirlpool effect in big water, just upstream of Riverside Gardens.

A lot of trees have been cut down and are currently sitting in the corner of the pool in the river. At the moment they may not cause a problem, however, high water levels may draw them into the river. There is a lot of timber, currently tangled up. It may not move at all.
Can be seen from the road near the traffic lights??

Theres a river wide tree immediately after where the rock slide/trees have been cut down. We sneaked above it on the RHS. Medium levels may cause a problem because all the branches are sticking up left right and center.

Its big and might not be going anywhere for a while.
