This is interesting information. They have also kindly provided information on river levels so responsible kayakers & canoeists can choose when to paddle with due environmental responsibility.

For anyone thinking of paddling this section, there is a tree lodged in the centre of the step at Featherstone Weir river right. It's lodged on the last wall of the step splitting the flow in half, easily visible in low levels but could become an issue in higher water if it doesn't wash clear.

Featherstone Weir.The tree is gone but the weir is still horrid at high water.
