On the 17th Jan we did this section at high levels. This was the 1st time on this stretch and we lost about half an hour trying to find the outlet of the river from Derwent Water as everything was flooded. The caravan site was just a load of electric hookups sticking out of the water and the dog poo bins were in the water.
Once we found the outlet we quickly encountered a total blockage with poor bank access. Some of our canoes were dragged over and we were able to create a small hole with saws. In lower levels this may be a trickier blockage as it was a multi trunked tree.
