River Goyt - Tree Hazard

We did the trip from Roman lakes to MCC last night, and encountered lots of tree hazards :(
They were all around the road bridge going over the Goyt at Roman lakes.

The first one is above the first rapid you get to, just before the 'sloped' play wave. This wasn't a problem to us, as we got on river right, above the bridge - half way down the rapid.

The second, and potentially more serious, was 50m below the bridge. 5 or 6 trees have fallen from the river left bank and stretch across the whole river !!!
We ran this low, at around 0.5 on the Marple Bridge EA gauge and could just squeeze through under the first tree - we then had around 2/3 meters to get out of our boats and had to climb over and under the other trees.
At anything above these levels if you paddle through the bridge it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to avoid being washed into the trees - from the bridge down it is walled in on both sides until after the blockage - so no eddies :O
Hopefully the EA will remove them soon.
Keep your eyes open and play safe.
