Many thanks to Annette for all her successful work during the last 6 years of organizing this event. We at Copeland Canoe Club have enjoyed every year, even the blowy ones.
As of 2013 we're the new organizers and would like to invite everyone, regulars and newcomers, to come and enjoy the event next year. We will have a similar approach to that of Annette, with categories for elite and fun paddlers.
We've set a date: Sunday 12th May 2013. Spring tides again, and will do our best with the weather though guarantees are not in place. Any questions don't hesitate to get in touch.

Ah, I'm away in the Grand Canyon next year, but I'm sure you'll have a great event anyway!

Hi all,
Hope you've got 12th May marked in your diary??!! It's the 7th Ravenglass Seaquest.
We've got further information up on www.copelandcanoe.org.uk. A great day out for all levels of paddler. Plenty to do and see for anyone not in a boat too. Special discount on the camp site. I'd be glad to send you further info, or check out the web site which we'll update frequently.
Thanks

Hi all,
Just a little bumpette for this event. All details are now at www.copelandcanoe.org.uk
Enter online, or just on the day. Beautiful area, great event, as competetive as you want to make it. What more could you ask for?

Thanks to all the entrants for their good humour on a day of wind and rain. Results, report, and and pics soon to be found on www.copelandcanoe.org.uk . A great day for everyone involved, with 75 kayakers/canoeists/sot'ers paddling out in the 3 estuaries. All the smiling faces at the end made it well worth the effort. Thanks all.
