Wessex Wild Water Race Number 2

This Sunday 20th September is the 2nd Wessex Race at Bathampton on the river Avon just outside Bath, It will be the same format as the Chippenham race. Booking in from 11:00 then Racing from 13:00. 2 runs from Batheaston over Bathampton Weir & finishing by the pontoon outside the Mill pub. Entries welcome on the day. Start is from the Car Park opposite the George & Dragon Pub on the old A4 in Batheaston.

Straightforward relaxed series of races, beginners or novices at WWR are most welcome, Any single crewed boat can race (understern rudders are not advisable !) Classes for U10 U12 U14 U16 U18 U23 Seniors & Masters

Dont forget if you use the Pub Car Park at the finish then please use the Pub as well. The bridge approaching the finish is a Toll bridge, The footpath from the Start does follow the River to the Finish if you would rather walk.
