Belgian Olympic kayakers in Lanzarote

The Belgian Olympic flatwater and slalom team is training on Surfski's at the Kayak del Mar base in Lanzarote.
Head Coach Carlos Prendes is leading the group consisting of the following team members;
Olivier Cauwenbergh, Mathieu Doby, Bob Maesen, Laurens Pannecoucke and D. Haenew.
The team is in no doubt about the destination as a year round training base;
"Training facilities here are perfect, the temperature in winter is warmer than nothern Europe in summer. Infrastructure, accommodation and equipment is first class".
