SURF: Surftember Spectacular @ Mawgan Porth

I know it is a little way off but advance notice is surely only a good thing.

Surtember Spectacular will be held at Mawgan Porth (Cornwall) on 3rd / 4th September with the 10th/11th reserved as a rerun date.

We will hold as many classes as we have entries for (3 or more of you enter any class and it will go ahead) out of:

Men Open
Woman Open
Junior Open
Masters Open

Men Long
Woman Long
Junior Long
Masters Long

Men Ski
Woman Ski
Junior Ski
Masters Ski

If I am missing anything someone wants to enter let me know and I will see what I can do!

This is a BCU event so Helmet and BA or Impact Vest will be required.

Hi Denzil,

How much to enter each short, long and ski? Also do you need to wear a buoyancy aid in the ski class?

The wonderful people at AS Watersports are going to be supporting the event!

They will be providing some prizes and will be on the beach with some free demo boats and stuff. Three cheers for them!

Hey Chris,

I am afraid you can enter a maximum of two classes (otherwise everyone will enter everything they can and it would take forever to run!).

Entry will be £10 per class on the day £8 per class in advance.

This is a BCU event so Helmet and BA or Impact Vest will be required for all classes I'm afraid (if any ski paddlers want to come and play but do not own such things contact me and I will try and find you something half decent to use).

Not long to go now!

I will also be running a playboat class now, so if you fancy coming and having a go but don't have a surf boat you will be more than welcome, come and join in the festivities.
