We are running the BCU/UKCC Level 2 Coach Award at the Old Vicarage Adventure Centre, on the Shropshire/Worcestershire border, over 2 weekends:

Saturday 21 - Sunday 22 April 2012

Saturday 28 - Sunday 29 April 2012

If you require any additional information or would like to book a place please contact us on +44 (0) 1746 718 436 or email: enquiries@ovac.co.uk

To find out more please click on the following link: http://www.ovac.co.uk/courses-training/ ... urses.html

The price for this course is £250.00 per person (non residential). If you require accommodation we are happy to help you source and have some fantastic B&B and self catering contacts.

This is the second step on the paddlesport coaching pathway. It focuses on progressive coaching, helping you to develop your canoeing / kayaking students within their first 3 years of paddling, through a series of sessions. This runs as a 4 day training course with a separate assessment. As a Level 2 Coach you can (and are encouraged to) deliver sessions in any type of kayak/canoe. One aim of the Level 2 Award is to provide you with the confidence and understanding to transfer skills between various boat types. This will allow you to focus your coaching around the needs of your students.
