Anyone going to the Canoe Symposium?

There will be loads of Trad Boat stuff, but short boats are catered for with their own workshops.

Try it. http://www.englishcanoesymposium.com/

Coming in from Belgium.

Joining the guided river run on Sunday, doing something else for a change on Saturday.

See you there!

I had a great time at the Symposium - paddled the Lune on the Sat with a great group of full on open boaters. Unfortunately I hurt my leg so couldn't paddle the next day. Great event lots of trade stands, interesting talks in the evenings - I'd recommend it. I believe it rotates round over 3 years so next year is the Scottish Symposium, then Wales, the back to England after that.

Cheers
