What do you need as in personal paddling skills to take your level 2 coach. I have my 2* and am hopefully taking my 3* soon. As a level 2 training kayak coach I believe I am able to take people out in open boats is this true?

As a qualified Level 2 Kayak Coach, you can lead an open boat group provided you hold the relevant personal skills award in Opens.(I don't think it applies until you have passed the Assessment though) - However I would still advise you to take the relevant Training in Open - you will learn a lot!
