Price: £450
Colour: yellow/ jaffa
Details: This boat is in excellent condition as it has only been paddled three times on Grade 3 and a couple on the canal. It's just too big for me. I'm 5'10 with short legs and size 9 feet, 14 stone. If you are bigger than this you will love this boat for comfort and performance. Look up the reviews and you'll see that people love the Burn and they're hard to get good ones second hand. It is yellow/ jaffa. Exeter area at the mo, south west wales soon... could meet anywhere in between.

Re: For Sale: Pyranha Burn (L)
Hi Matt
Thanks for the pictures and your email, which I have attached below:
"I still have a Pyranha Burn 2009 (Large) for sale. It is in excellent condition and has had minimal use. I am selling it becuase it is to big for me. I am 5' 10" (1.80m) and weigh 14st. I blame my short legs but it is just too roomy even with the Connect 30 outfit. I am very happy with this design and have now bought a Burn in medium. The asking price has been £600 over the winter, because I have paid out for a second boat, I will now accept offers less than 600.
I know some of you have already made offers, but for me to make back as much as possible and not make a ridiculous loss, I am inviting you all to make your best offer and we can go from there. The photos attached should answer your questions re condition - 009 especially shows how little the hull has been scratched."
Just so I get this straight, you advertise a 2009 Burn at £450. Yet in your email you disregard that stating that it was previously advertised at £600(?), and that you are now open to offers? So when people express an interest in the Burn, at a stated price of £450, you now feel that you can turn this into some sort of auction so that you can bump the price up from your asking price... Is that right?
Well you've now got one less expression of interest, as you can count me out of your wheeler dealing. Oh and for the record I think £450 is a fair price given that used 2010 Burn's are going for slightly more than that price.
Glenn

We have both made mistakes here. The current asking price is £450, with no intention of bumping it up by auction methods. The mistake that I have made is that the email you received is a copy of the one that I originally sent when it was first for sale - to save typing it all out again; I didn't check it for correctness. I originally wanted more money and I was keen to sell at that price because at the end of the day it isn't a very old boat, it is in excellent condition and I wasn't in a hurry to sell. Circumstances change. To you, I am sorry if you think I was trying to pull a fast one. All I can ask is that you don't view all of society as out to get you - some of us are honest, well meaning and generaly affable people, who can take offence at misguided criticism.
For everyone else, the fact remains that I have a 2009 Burn (large) for sale at £450, hardly used.
I have also put on over a stone in weight since it was first for sale so ignore that bit too.
While I am on here, I have been approached by a number of PayPal scammers. A few simle checks and common sense should prevail. If you are not aware of the pitfalls of accepting paypal payments - google it. I don't want this forum to be distracted from buying my boat!
