Hi mate
I would say you would be really happy with both. I paddle a project x 64 and once set up have been really impressed.

In comparison I find the hip braces on the Jackson very basic and not being as adjustable is an issue for me. I do use jacksons happy feet though so its kind of a cross over.

I would say anything other than the thigh braces is very much personal choice. If you fit the Jackson then the thigh braces aren't an issue.

I don't know what your history is but I've returned from a big break. Playboating to me was butchered spuds, Noah aeroquatics etc. As my first modern playboat I would highly recommend it. Not the easiest on flat water but I was cartwheeling and throwing ends on my first white water trip. So far I cannot find a flaw with the project x.

I hope that helps a bit, you got 2 fantastic boats to choose between and you'll quickly settle on either.

I think the easiest way to disseised, is if you want to do tricks like loops; go for the allstar. However if you want to do tricks to do with cartwheeling go for the project x unless you already find it easy to cartwheel. In my personal opinion I would have the allstar because when you do learn to cartwheel in it it’s just better in every way and that’s why I an allstar.

Hope this helps and good luck.
